Best choice for my minis. Started feeding Crushed when a previous salt supplement was discontinued. Originally fed to my full size horses and loved it. Always knew how much salt they were getting and not wasting salt blocks. Then started feeding to my driving ponies and still love Crushed. I can increase the dosage during the high heat in summer, but really keep it pretty close year round. Helps ensure they drink enough water in the summer heat and winter cold. Great product, happy to order it whenever I’m out!

Best electrolyte I’ve found. LOVE this product. Truly saw a huge difference in water intake. South Florida heat is no joke and horses on this product drink twice as much and rarely have dehydration issues. Great that it’s free of fillers/chemicals/sugars like other electrolytes. Some are picky with it but usually a little water in the grain to bond it solves the issue. My horse unfortunately doesn’t lick a salt lick, so I like that this has the mineral benefits and is also an electrolyte. I even sprinkle a tiny bit on my dog's food on hot days and I see her drink more water as well. The 25 pound bag is an incredible value, although I do wish the bags had a ziplock top (just a tear/cut top) so you could store it air sealed without tape, but maybe that will come in the future. Overall, really happy with this product and the value.

Makes my horse drink. I started purchasing loose salt because my barn doesn’t always have a block out in the pasture. It is important for me to know my horse is drinking during extreme cold weather and this product ensures that. After I feed and let him back out to the pasture, the first thing he does is drink.

Love the salt and mineral combo. I love the fact that Redmond crushed rock is all natural and not refined or chemically compounded. It’s my go to choice for my horses knowing that they are getting both salt and natural minerals to keep them hydrated and healthy.
