I just finished a multi-day horse trip in the rugged Teton Mountains. Our horses rode over 60 miles and climbed nearly 12,000 ft elevation over some of the most rugged mountain trails. After each ride I gave my horse a dose of Redmond Electrolytes to replenish all the minerals and promote good rehydration that my horse would need to perform its best for another long trail ride the next day. One horse displayed some morning muscle tremors which can be an early sign of tying-up. I offered to give the horse a dose of Redmond’s IsoBalance Electrolytes, he said I could try but his horse would never take any type of paste, he was amazed that his horse took the Redmond electrolyte without acting up or spitting it out. The muscle tremors quickly went away and was ready for another long day on the trail. I love that Redmond is keeping up with equine science and nutrition by reformulating their electrolytes to better replenish what horses truly need to stay balanced. The Redmond IsoBalance Electrolyte is a must-have in my saddle bag, and I believe an essential for serious trail riders.

I gave this to my Senior TB gelding who's struggling in this extreme 100+ degree temps. Helped his breathing and seemed comfortable after it kicked in. I will order more.

I, and the horses, were a fan of this new salt/clay combo product. I like the shorter, simpler ingredient list. Though I did miss the added recovery benefits of the B vitamins, I would use this product again in the future.
