Electrolytes my horses love

I’ve been adding a scoop of Redmond Red mineral salt to my horses grain ration for two years now and both of my mares love it and are doing great.

They stay hydrated during the bitter cold of winter and the sweltering heat of summer in Kansas.

My horses are not eating their grain/mush with the salt added to it. I tried breaking it up into 2-3 servings per day & only 1 of our 3 horses will touch it.

The mineral supplement has been great. I give it ot my older horse with a history of colic when the temperatures swing wildly, and its accelerated his water intake, and so far no colic!

Horses love it

I have the salt licks but they really never lick it and it ‘s always getting dust so I switched to the loose and mix it with their feed. In the summer I switch to the garlic one to help ward off flies.
